Norwegian Forest Cats

We are Gerrit and Alie Wiersma. We live together with our Norwegian Forestcats in the north of the Netherlands in a town called Leek.

We have one female Montana and one neutered female Rexie, the rest are all males, which are castrated, except Johnny, Sky Blue and Ildivo Blanc. They are all good companions and get along very well together most of the time. Before Rexie was castrated we’ve got two litters from her and Johnny and enjoyed very much her kittens growing up with us of whom Obelix has stayed with us. At the first place we didn’t want to breed but still we missed the kittens. So now and then we have a litter. Our cats can walk in- and outdoors freely, have plenty free space at home and in the garden. And because we fenced off our garden, they can't get away.

A small number of our cats we take to shows in Holland and abroad, we've got two Europian Premiors at the moment, Skip and Jon Bon. And our Johnny was the first Supreme Champion!!
